How to Apply a Mask a Folder Mask
To shape a folder thumbnail using a mask:
- Enable Edit Mode and open the folder.
- Tap the Edit icon (pencil) in the top menu bar.
- Scroll down to the Thumbnail Icon Style section.
- Tap on Mask.
- Select one of the following for a shape:

| Reset | Removes any existing mask, returning the thumbnail to its default square boundaries. |
| Shape | [cite_start]Choose a built-in geometric shape to define the border: • Rectangle • Round Rectangle: Use the gear icon to adjust the corner radius (0-306). • Oval: Creates a circular mask. • Arc: Creates a partial circle. The Start angle (rotation) and Sweep angle (how much of the circle is filled) can be adjusted. |
| Image | Select a custom image from the launcher's image resources (or add images to the resource (see here to use as a mask. The thumbnail content will only be visible where the mask image is opaque. |
