Layout - List
Dialog selections are discussed below the image. To navigate to an item, select it in the List Layout image.
List Layout Object Design screen. Make selection above.
The List Layout object design screen provides spatial positioning, canvas boundaries, and action toolbars for linear vertical container arrangements:
- List objects
: Placeholders, shown in Edit On mode, for the layout objects. The default “List Layout” contains 5 vertically aligned objects, with the layout container shown as selected. Tapping outside the boundary deselects the layout. At that time, a tap on a +will activate anActiondialog for selection of which action is desired (application, window, sequence, etc.)- Coordinate Markers (725, 65, 951): Real-time pixel distance markers from canvas edges. (not adjustable in this demo)
- Anchor Nodes (Blue Handles): Boundary adjustment handles located at midpoints and corners to scale width and height. (not adjustable in this demo)
- Object Design Menu (top): Provides primary object actions and file operations.
- Snap to Grid / Guides: Toggles automatic alignment and snapping against the layout grid and neighboring objects.
- Test Mode / Preview: Temporarily previews layout interactions and scrolling behavior without exiting Edit Mode.
- Layout Options (Gear): Opens the comprehensive configuration dialog (General Rows, Launch sound, Icon, Label, Shadow, Background)[cite: 3].
- Pin / Lock Position: Locks the layout object to prevent accidental dragging or resizing on the workspace.
- Duplicate / Copy: Clones the entire List Layout container and its contained item definitions.
- Cut Object: Removes the layout object from the canvas and stores it in the clipboard buffer.
- Save as Style / Template: Exports the layout styling and properties to the central resource library for reuse.
- Delete (Trash): Deletes the List Layout container and all placed item slots from the page.
- Object Design Menu (bottom): Controls layer ordering, alignment, and geometry.
- Previous / Next Object: Cycles selection through other objects on the active page.
- Send Backward / Bring Forward: Adjusts layer stacking order (Z-Index) relative to overlapping objects.
- Multi-Select / Group: Enables multi-object selection to align or move multiple elements together.
- Rotate / Transform: Opens rotation angle controls to tilt the linear container on a 2D plane.
- Alignment & Distribution: Aligns the container to canvas edges (Left, Center, Right, Top, Middle, Bottom).
